No medications. No trainer. No meal plan.

I Lost 85+ Pounds Without Ozempic, a Personal Trainer, or a Meal Plan.

My name is Michael. I am 48, a working dad with a demanding career, and I went from 280 pounds to 194 pounds by tracking three numbers with near-obsessive consistency: calories, protein, and body weight. Every single day. I kept a spreadsheet open on my phone so every meal lined up to the plan I set that morning.

The real numbers

This Is What 85 Pounds Looks Like in a Spreadsheet.

I started at 280 pounds. I weigh 194 pounds today. My goal is 165 to 170 pounds at 12 to 15% body fat. I am not done. I am sharing this system while I am still running it.

My name is Michael. I am 48. I have a family, including a young son, and a full-time demanding career. No personal trainer. No medications. No meal plan from a coach.

What I had was a spreadsheet open on my phone all day, every day.

I tracked three numbers: calories per meal and per day, grams of protein per meal and per day, and body weight every morning. I planned each day's meals in the morning and checked the numbers throughout the day. When something was off, I adjusted. When something worked, I kept it.

The Transformation Playbook documents this system. Every principle. Every tracking method. Every decision I made to lose 85+ pounds and keep going.

Why most attempts fail

You do not need more willpower. You need numbers you check every day.

Most plans fail because they run on feel. You eat what seems reasonable, weigh yourself when you remember, and hope the trend goes down. Without measurement, you have no way to know whether the plan works or whether you drifted.

Guessing replaces measuring

People underestimate what they eat. Research on self-reported intake has documented this pattern for decades. Without a logged number, your estimate drifts toward what you want it to be.

Protein gets ignored

Most plans focus on calories alone. Cut calories without enough protein and you lose muscle along with fat. That lowers your metabolic rate and makes the next phase harder.

No feedback loop

Weekly weigh-ins are too sparse to catch a stall early. Daily data lets you see the trend, adjust in days instead of months, and separate real change from normal fluctuation.

The method

Three numbers. Tracked daily. Adjusted when the data says so.

This is not a diet with banned foods or a workout program with a fixed schedule. It is a measurement system. You track three things, you set targets, and you adjust based on what the numbers tell you.

Number one

Calories, per meal and per day

Logged before eating, not after. Planning the day in the morning is what makes the number a target instead of a scoreboard.

Number two

Protein, per meal and per day

Tracked with the same discipline as calories. Protein is the lever that protects lean mass while you are eating in a deficit.

Number three

Body weight, every morning

Same conditions, same time, every day. Daily data reveals the trend. Weekly data hides it inside normal fluctuation.

On training

Resistance training belongs in any serious fat loss plan.

I train with Tonal for strength and Peloton for cardio. Both are part of the system. Neither is required to get results.

That said, resistance training belongs in any serious fat loss plan. Muscle burns approximately 6 calories per pound per day at rest. More muscle means a higher base metabolic rate. Your body burns more calories around the clock. For men over 40, this becomes urgent. After 40, men lose 3 to 8% of muscle mass per decade. Strength training slows that loss. The earlier you start, the more you protect.

Sources: resting metabolic rate of muscle versus fat tissue is documented in metabolic research including work published in the Journal of Applied Physiology. Age-related muscle loss rates are documented in sarcopenia literature including Morley et al., Journal of Laboratory and Clinical Medicine (2001). Verify both before citing them yourself.

What you get

The Transformation Playbook

The full system, documented. What I tracked, how I set targets, how I adjusted when progress stalled, and the reasoning behind each decision.

  • The three-number tracking systemWhat to log, when to log it, and why logging before you eat changes the outcome.
  • How to set your own targetsCalculating your baseline, choosing a deficit you can sustain, and setting a protein target that protects lean mass.
  • The daily planning routineThe morning process I use to map out the day before it happens, so decisions are made once instead of twelve times.
  • What to do when progress stallsHow to read the data, distinguish a real plateau from normal fluctuation, and adjust without panicking.
  • The decisions behind the numbersEvery meaningful choice I made across 85+ pounds, with the reasoning, including the ones that did not work.
Honest expectations

Who this is for, and who it is not.

I would rather you skip this than buy it expecting something it is not.

This is for you if

  • You want to lose weight without GLP-1 medications
  • You are willing to log what you eat, every day
  • You want the reasoning, not a plan handed to you
  • You have tried plans built on feel and watched them fail
  • You are comfortable with a spreadsheet or a tracking app

This is not for you if

  • You want a fast fix or a fixed pounds-per-week promise
  • You will not log your food
  • You expect this to replace medical care or a doctor's plan
  • You have an eating disorder or a condition requiring supervised care
  • You are under 18

Questions

Straight answers before you buy.

Did you use Ozempic or any GLP-1 medication?

No. I lost 85+ pounds without GLP-1 medications, without a personal trainer, and without a meal plan from a coach. I do not take a position on GLP-1 use generally. That is a decision between you and your doctor.

What exactly am I buying?

A digital guide documenting the system I used to go from 280 pounds to 194 pounds. It covers the three numbers I tracked, how I set targets, how I adjusted when progress stalled, and the reasoning behind each choice. Instant download after purchase.

Are you making medical claims?

No. This is educational content based on my own experience. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a licensed medical professional. Consult your doctor before beginning any weight-loss program, especially if you have an existing condition or take medication.

Do I need a gym or special equipment?

No. I train with Tonal and Peloton, and neither is required. The nutrition and tracking system works on its own. Resistance training of any kind supports the process and helps protect lean mass while you are in a deficit.

Do I have to count calories?

Yes. That is the core of the system. If you are not willing to log what you eat, this will not work for you and I would rather you know that before buying.

Are you finished with your own journey?

No. I am at 194 pounds with a goal of 165 to 170 pounds at 12 to 15% body fat. I am sharing this system while I am still running it, which means what you are reading is a working method rather than a retrospective.

What results should I expect?

I cannot tell you. Results depend on starting point, consistency, biology, sleep, stress, age, medical history, and adherence. I am sharing what worked for me and the reasoning behind it. No guarantees, no typical-result claims.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds on the download. Delivery is instant, the file is yours immediately, and I state that clearly before you buy. What I offer instead is worth more than $10 back: run the system for two weeks, and if it is not working, email your calorie log and morning weigh-ins to support@weaightloss.com. I will review your data personally and tell you what to change. No charge for that.

Do you offer coaching?

Not yet. I am gauging interest first. Join the coaching waitlist and I will contact you if it opens.
